Provided by the Montana Nurses Association
Presented by: Nathan Paul, EMT-B
We will look at statistics on the prevalence of workplace violence in general and what are the most common types of violence experienced by nurses. Then we will consider the most common indicators and situational predictors of violence and discuss effective ways to avoid and prevent violence before it happens. Finally, we will look at ways to lessen the impact workplace violence has on our physical and emotional wellbeing.
