Chastity Van Pelt, MSN, FNP-BC, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner since 2008, brings expertise and compassion to her practice. Graduating from Michigan State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she continued her educational journey, earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the esteemed University of Michigan in 2008.

With over 9 years of clinical proficiency in Adult and Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant, Chastity’s commitment to patient care is evident. However, it was a personal experience that ignited her passion for pediatric sleep health. Following the birth of her second child, she encountered significant sleep deprivation, prompting her to seek the guidance of a certified sleep consultant. Through a series of transformative behavioral adjustments, her daughter began sleeping independently after enduring months of interrupted rest. This firsthand encounter with the profound impact of behavioral changes on sleep served as the catalysts for her entrepreneurial journey.
In 2023, Chastity Van Pelt achieved certification as a Pediatric Sleep Consultant and established BLISS Pediatric Sleep Support, seamlessly blending her extensive nursing background with her motherhood journey. Today, she collaborates with families to cultivate independent sleep habits in their children, fervently advocating for the importance of quality sleep. With an ardent dedication to education, she aspires to empower parents and healthcare professionals alike with the science of pediatric sleep, fostering healthier, happier families.
