Nurse Planner Primer: Use of ANCC Accreditation Criteria
Provided by Montana Nurses Association
This webinar reviews the qualifications for a nurse planner and the competencies required, including the role of an approved provider unit in the ANCC accreditation system. The educational design criteria are described in detail, with examples of how nurse planners address each requirement. Special attention is paid to high-risk areas such as conflict of interest, calculation of contact hours, and how to develop evaluation methods that measure learners’ achievement of the desired outcome.
Presented by former Director of Professional Development at MNA, Kristi Anderson, MN, RN, NPD-BC, CNL.
